Animal quiz for kids
Follow the tracks.
Learn the animals.
Fauna teaches children roughly aged 8–13 about animals and the natural world. They pick a topic, read a few short illustrated slides, then answer questions at their own pace. No timers. Nothing to lose.
- 8 topics
- 56 learning slides
- 240 questions
- 24 paw prints to earn
What Fauna never does
No ads, ever. No third-party analytics or tracking. No accounts and no sign-in of any kind, and nothing anywhere in the app for a child to type. Every learning slide is free, always, for everyone.
How it works
Read first
Every topic opens with short illustrated slides — the facts before the questions. They are free for everyone and can be read aloud.
Then the trail
Questions sit along a path a child follows upward, one stone at a time. Every answer shows its explanation before they move on.
Not knowing is fine
"I don't know yet" earns a point too. A wrong answer is never marked in red and never makes a sad noise — it just reveals the answer.
Progress is owned
Paw prints stay on the home screen. Progress lives on the device and works completely offline, forever.
For parents
A parents area sits behind a maths question a young child cannot tap past. It shows what your child has covered, and it is the only place with settings, purchases and outbound links.
Fauna is free to try in full: all 56 learning slides, plus the first five questions of every level in every topic. One optional one-time purchase opens the remaining questions. It is not a subscription.
