Deleting your data
Last updated 27 August 2026
There is very little to delete, because there is very little held. Fauna has no accounts and no servers: your child's progress is stored on their own device and nowhere else. That means clearing it is entirely in your hands, and takes about ten seconds.
Clearing your child's progress
Open the parents area from the home screen, answer the multiplication, then choose Settings → Reset progress. It takes two taps and tells you exactly what will be cleared — in paw prints and questions answered — before it does anything.
Deleting the app from the device also removes everything it stored. Either way, the progress is gone from the only place it ever existed. It cannot be recovered afterwards, by you or by us.
What we hold about you
Nothing. There is no account to close, no email address on file, and no copy of your child's progress on any server of ours — we do not run one. There is no request for you to make and no form to fill in, because there is no record to find.
If you would like that confirmed in writing, email support@ripeseed.io and we will reply saying so.
What clearing progress affects
| What | What happens |
|---|---|
| Answered questions and paw prints | Cleared. This cannot be undone. |
| How far through each topic they have read | Cleared, so the slides start from the beginning again. |
| Your preferences | Kept. Reduce motion, sound and read-aloud stay as you set them — resetting a child's answers should not silently undo an accessibility choice. |
| Your purchase | Untouched. Full access belongs to the App Store or Google Play account that bought it, not to the app's stored data. Use Restore purchase in the parents area to bring it back on any device signed in to that same store account. |
Clearing progress is permanent and cannot be undone. Because nothing is backed up anywhere, there is no copy to restore from — so it is worth being sure before the second tap. The app itself warns you of this, and counts what will be lost.
